Festival of Camellias – February

The annual Festival of Camellias is a tradition of the American Camellia Society, and special events are held each day in February at Massee Lane Gardens in Fort Valley to celebrate these beautiful blooms at their peak. Festival events include Senior Citizen Days with box lunches, camellia plant sales, a spring fashion show and luncheon, and camellia workshops. Massee Lane Gardens have more than 1,000 varieties of camellias, which may bloom from September through April. (478) 967-2358

Cup of Blue – Saturday, April 25 beginning at 6 p.m.

Join us to honor our Law Enforcement and their families! There will be food trucks, live music, activities, and evening fireworks.

Battle of Byron – May 2

The Battle of Byron is an annual festival of games, market vendors, music, and food trucks right in downtown Byron. Challenge your friends, family, and strangers to compete in games like mud volleyball, high-heel races, cornhole, and more! 

Georgia Peach Festival June

The annual week-long Georgia Peach Festival celebrates Byron’s and Peach County’s reputation as Georgia’s premier peach-growing region, and it is the only state-sanctioned food festival. Each June, activities are split between Byron and Fort Valley, attracting around 10,000 visitors to enjoy parades, concerts, arts and crafts, the Miss Georgia Peach pageant, and the World’s Largest Peach Cobbler.

BBQ Fest Sept 18th & 19th

The annual Byron BBQ Fest is ready to get you fired up! Watch a heated In Association With the Georgia BBQ Association competition full of smoke, flavor, and rivalry. Shop from market vendors for perfect finds, grab tasty food from the food trucks, listen to hours of upbeat live music, or let the kids run wild in the kids' zone! Want to be part of the festival? Nightmare on Main Street – October 31

Join us for our Annual Nightmare on Main Street trick-or-treat event!

  • Rotary Club Costume Contest at 5:30 p.m.
  • Trick-or-Treating starts at 6 p.m.

This is FAMILY-FRIENDLY fun, so bring the kids and enjoy a fun evening trick-or treating on Main Street in Byron.

Georgia National Fair – October

The Georgia National Fair appeals to everyone with its livestock and horse shows, competitive exhibits, food, midway rides and games, commercial vendors, major concerts, street entertainers, family entertainment, circus, and nightly fireworks. It has been designated a “Top 50 Fair” by Amusement Business magazine and Matt’s Carnival Warehouse.
